Paula Patton

Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her starring roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. As a young girl her mother raised her in her parents' Los Angeles middle-class household. To instil a love of film into her child was something she learned from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school and loved drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. She acted in many high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a career. She was enrolled at The University of Southern California in an summer camp and delighted in her stay. She won a three-month assignment producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully her first job was as a TV assistant documentary production. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Although she was awed by the work, she was aspired to be an actor. The path to acting began when she had an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in numerous films and television shows.
