Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". She is also known for being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children helped her land one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. When she graduated of Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the small and large screen. Martin has a background as an actor, in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been working in the field for the past 20 years. She is a mom of two, and also the face of Lupus. Since her 19-year-old sister's death Martin has been working to raise awareness about Lupus and its symptoms.
